Cricut, Create, Repeat …. one of the best purchases I have made!

DIY
Hello all! I feel like I have been MIA from blogging for a few months... mostly because I made such an AWESOME purchase. I bought a beautiful, light blue crafting machine... the Cricut Explore Air 2. This piece of crafting beauty gives you the option to create really anything that you want from shirts, home decor items, party supplies, wall decals, car decals. Really, if you can think of it, you can probably make it! I cannot wait to explore my creativity through this machine and make pieces for others that will make them so excited that they would want to buy one! So far, I really haven't bought too many items to start-up. I just bought the Cricut, squeegee, weeder tool, different types of vinyl, and some card stock.…

New business adventure – I have become a Thirty-one consultant!

DIY
What made me decide to become a consultant Guess what? I have decided to become a consultant for Thirty-one bags. I have gone back and forth for a few years about becoming a consultant for Thirty-one and I have finally made the jump. The only thing that was holding me back was the initial $99 you have  put down to buy your starter kit. Although, with your starter kit you get tons of items that are worth a total of $350! I mean, come on! How cute these bags?!? When I opened my front door last week, my beautiful PINK BOX had arrived. I wanted to record me opening the box, but I decided against the "Awww, that's so cute squeals.... and the STOP, don't touch that, blurt-outs". Which may…

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by to check out another post! I have decided to make a list for the top projects that I would like to do for our house by the end of the year. Seriously though, I have many more to add, but I will try to keep it to under 10 projects so I don't drive everyone in my house insane. I have boards on my Pinterest account for almost all of these projects (they may or may not have been pinned multiples times and for a few months... or years ;) LOL) Budget friendly kitchen makeover I have started a few of my makeovers for our kitchen with the adorable black and white farmhouse these in this blog post with my coffee cart and this…

Vanity makeover, using Milk Paint!

Vanity makeover, using Milk Paint!

DIY
Hi everyone! This has been one of demanding parts of the bathroom. Only because I did not want the girls to be in the bathroom when I was doing it because of the fumes, they were super strong. The girls bathroom vanity (and all of the cabinets in our house) started out like this.... reason #5656560o97 why I want to revamp my kitchen. What an eyesore!   The vanity is not completely finished, but I will have it done before we go to Hawaii in the next couple of weeks. First, the vanity needed a VERY good cleaning. I sprayed it with TSP cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes and then wiped it off. I was amazed how much yucky gunk came off. Be sure to let it…

Inviting Spring Wreath

Inviting Spring Wreath

DIY
Hi! I decided I wanted to create a new wreath for my front door. I am working on way too many projects at a time right now, but at least I feel accomplished! The wreath that I purchased can be used for all the seasons, because you can easily take out the flowers and sign and exchange it for the next holiday. I used a simple grapevine wreath, spring flowers, ribbon, and a sign. All items were purchased at Hobby Lobby, details listed below. 10" Grapevine wreath - $4.99 Spring flowers - $7.00 Ribbon - already had from an earlier project Happy Spring sign - $6.00 Total : $18 I plan to exchange out the sign with a "G" for the summer and add some cute items to make it…

DIY kitchen “EAT” sign, check it out!

DIY
First of all, I am eager to start this journey of blogging and documenting all that wonderful projects I will be doing for my home and the fun activities I can do with two cute toddlers. Originally, I was going to start redoing my kitchen (which would entail A LOT of work with just me and two little ones who want all of my attention). I decided to start off by filling this wall that I have had empty for 5 years.... yes I know, way too long lol. I could not figure out what I wanted to put there until I was inspired by this adorable "Gather" sign.  It was adorable! It had the perfect farmhouse, homey feel. I want all things farmhouse and my husband wants all things…
